Antiques, Ancient art and history, my favourite subjects.
I was very lucky... One day i went to the local second hand store, i spotted this incredible big old book. 7 euros, not a lot of money and i thought it couldn`t be that interesting. But its cover made me a bit curious. I opened the book, and I could not in my wildest imagination believe what i was going to see. Old thick paper, filled with the most beautiful pictures i had ever seen.
I wanted to know a little bit more about the book, i searched the internet. I found out that "Panorama" is a Rare Antique book. It is a Memorial book at the occasion of the 100 years existence of The Dutch independence. This is an original book, a collection of every Panorama magazine which were published between 1913-1914. Illustrated in a very rich way, filled with pictures, and article about every day life, International politics, royal family and houses, art, science, fashion, trade, business life and history. Very interesting to read and i have spend many hours looking at all the beautiful pictures, the advertisement and read all the articles. What a Treasure!! So, i wanted to share some of the pictures, enjoy!

Today is a good day :) I have been working, cleaning and I have also been doing a bit of decorating. Mia Once said : " All my decorations has to have a function", in my house it is just the same. It has something to do with the fact that i am not fond of knick-knack which only stands collecting dust. And mostly my decorations fills more than one funtion. Like my beautiful tea cups. I use them for drinking tea, storaging jewelrys or as a wase for a pretty little flower. And i like to see my stuff too, i don`t want to hide it away...like my collection of white laces...

A STAR IS BORN

I hope you had a lovely Sunday as well. What did you do? Aina

Heisann!
A Dream Kitchen! A big table in the middle of the room with a large bench, room for all the love ones. The beautiful China, brand: Royal Copenhagen..

Hi girls! Here i am, feeling much better :) We have had a lovely weekend, the weather has been great and we have been wandering at the beach. Yes, the beach is my favourite place to be. The dogs were playing, the lovebirds were kissing and a few boys were enjoying the waves surf-riding. We have been visiting our favourite shops, taken a closer look at the local lighthouse and just enjoying the sound and the beautiful view of the ocean. I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend, fresh and fruity for a new week full of challenges. Today i want to share some pictures i found in one of my favourite magazine Ariadne At Home. The pictures takes us to the Swedish countryside, a light decorated house full of beautiful furnitures. Old and new mixed together, a delightful Scandinavian home. Please Enjoy!

gathered some delicious berries, watched a boatrace and then i made my first garland with Hydrangea. Last week i payed Blomsterverkstad a visit. She had made a fantastic Garland, and i fell in love immediately. It was perfect for me! Minna makes the most amazing decorations with flowers and she motivated me to make my own garland. So off i went..i had a hard time finding the right materials but i have used what i could find in our surroundings. I have a garden filled with various of plants and flowers, and of course the most important ones, the Hydrangea. Hydrangea is one of my favourite plants, it was "Love at first sight" really..this is my garland made with love and patience..
