Saturday morning I woke up to the cheerful tones of a Willow Warbler who sang her way into my bedroom. As a pirouette through the air, the beautiful song landed on my pillow. And just as wonderful, the day now continues outside on the veranda..
I told you about how I waited for the apple trees to flower. And surely, this week they started blooming !
The best part about warmer temperature, is not having to wear socks, ditching all the layers, but also I can finally hang my laundry out to dry. The soothing rhythm of flapping clothes from one side to another, bring a sense of calm to my spirit...

Wat lijkt het mij heerlijk om je gezelschap te komen houden op de veranda, uitkijkend op de was die er zo mooi te drogen hangt! Zonnetje erbij, drankje erbij en het plaatje is compleet!! Klinkt bijzonder goed :)!

Hello Aina, I am back again!
ReplyDeleteYes, Canada is a lovely place with very friendly people. I think we have a lot in common with Scandinavia, with the cold weather and the socialism. The US is really wonderful but Canada is definitely different. We are like the pretty, kind sister to the dazzling supermodel.
Down to earth and modesty are definitely Canadian values...we say "sorry" more often and have friendlier drivers, in my experience (although some cities are very bad here too).
Love your blog. I have followed for years off and on. Your photos are gorgeous always...
