As a long time reader you would know, this is the part of the year when I become totally obsessed with my garden. And I spend a whole lot of time digging, weeding and watching all my plants grow. This year we have more confidence expanding the various of plants in our greenhouse and we are trying out a few more vegetables. Such as broad beans, peas, cucumbers and salads. In addition to chili, herbs and tomatoes. Not much yet to see though, I just make sure that every plant is healthy and well maintained..
The peonies are almost blooming. (If you look closely you may catch a glimpse of Saba. She is always just a few steps behind, following me around to see what I am up to) And here, a couple of healthy small Cucumber plants in our greenhouse. I am very excited about these, hopefully they will develop properly..

Not too many colors or vegetables to see yet, besides green. But still very lovely to walk around and watch how every little plant is developing. I will of course be back with more pictures from our greenhouse and garden later this summer. What is blooming in your garden ?

ReplyDeleteToevallig heb ik vanmorgen een post over onze tuin geplaatst, er volgen er vast nog wel meer. Het regent hier nu langdurig maar regelmatig kijk ik even uit het raam, genietend van de tuin en het pas geschilderde tuinhuisje dat er weer zo mooi bij staat.

what a beautiful garden you have I cant wait for our first spring on our new property to see what is going to take off. The winter here has the white euphobias flowering and the bright red poinsettias. kind of looks like christmas here in sunny queensland Australia.

ReplyDeleteSå vakre bilder fra hagen! :) Vi har ikkje fått oss noko hage enda, men det stopper ikkje meg i å handle inn rosetrær og andre trær :) Dei er planta i krukker, så håper eg på at vi er komt så langt med huset til neste år, at vi kan konsentrere oss meir om hage da :) I år har eg blant anna kjøpt 12 historiske roser/austinroser :) Kan nesten ikkje vente til dei blomstrer! Gleder meg :) Så kjekt å vere ute no når dagane er så fine. Må berre nytast! Håper du har det fint, Aina :) Og at du har like fine dagar! Godklem til gode du :)
oh yes Aina, I feel the same way... this part of year is actually so special, every day you can see the how the plants growing, absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately we don' t have the space for planting veggies, but I'm looking forward to see how your plants growing!

ReplyDeleteSo, so pretty! Your garden is beautiful and so are your photos!! My lavender is in bloom right now which makes me very happy :) Everything else is running ahead of schedule too because we had a very mild winter and warm spring {very unusual for us}.
